Used lens in very good optical condition and overall appearance.

The exterior of the lens is in outstanding condition, with no marks of any note.

The front element is in excellent condition, but a perfectionist (like we are) might note the slightest of imperfections in the anti-reflective coating. There is of course absolutely no question of a reduction in the lens' performance.

While there is always some dust inside any used lens, this lens is particularly clean, with very limited internal dust.

The focusing and zoom rings turn smoothly and with no play.

Auto-focus works perfectly.

This model was produced between 1993 and 2002. This particular one was manufactured in May 2001. It is therefore among the younger copies of this model that can be found.
