Some minor imperfections are visible on the lens barrel in various places, including a scratch on the focus window and a deformation of the filter ring at the front of the lens that does not prevent filter use.

The front element is in very good condition, showing only the slightest of imperfections in the anti-reflective coating. There is absolutely no question of a reduction in the lens' performance.

There are some signs of wear around the lens mount, with no impact on mounting, locking, or proper operation of the lens.

While there is always some dust inside any used lens, this lens is very clean, with limited internal dust.

The focusing and zoom rings turn smoothly and with no play.

Auto-focus works perfectly.

This model was produced between 2002 and 2012. This particular one was manufactured in December 2010. It is therefore among the younger copies of this model that can be found.
