The Canon EOS 5D Mark II features a newly developed full-size 21.1-megapixel CMOS sensor that delivers outstanding resolution and rich gradation expression. Its standard ISO sensitivity range of 100–6400 can be expanded to provide optimal performance in a diverse range of shooting situations. The next-generation DIGIC 4 image processor enables high-speed processing of the increased amount of data generated by the high-pixel-count image sensor, while supporting continuous shooting at up to approximately 3.9 frames per second. The camera also features a high-performance autofocus system, Live View and, as the first model in the EOS series to offer a movie function, Full HD video recording at 1920 × 1080 pixels and 30 frames per second.
