The Canon EOS-1D X combines the strengths of Canon’s two professional DSLR series: the exceptionally high image quality of the 1Ds series and the superlative high-speed performance of the 1D series. Its newly developed approximately 18.1-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor makes effective use of Canon’s semiconductor technologies to deliver low-noise performance. Dual DIGIC 5+ image processors provide high levels of image quality and speed, while the newly developed AF system with 61 autofocus points enables precise subject capture. The EOS iTR AF system can track a subject using face and target-colour information.
