Canon Speedlite 550EX

The Canon Speedlite 550EX is a high-output flash unit with evaluative E-TTL automatic flash control through the lens. It can operate either as an on-camera flash or as a master flash in a wireless multi-Speedlite slave system.When mounted on a Type-A camera, the 550EX produces natural-looking flash photographs by balancing the flash output with the existing ambient light. The 550EX also provides high-speed sync, FP flash, or focal-plane flash, which enables flash synchronization at all shutter speeds, flash exposure lock, flash exposure bracketing, and autofocus-assist illumination compatible with the EOS-3 autofocus area.When mounted on a Type-B camera, the 550EX operates as a TTL automatic flash.With Type-B cameras, some functions of the 550EX will not be available.
