Canon FD 24mm f1.4 SSC Aspherical

Used lens in excellent optical condition and overall appearance, but presenting a focus problem. The lens works perfectly, and the image quality is excellent, but when attempting to focus on infinity, the focus ring stops just before correct focus is obtained. It is very likely that this can be corrected with a simple adjustment, but we do not possess the relevant expertise.

In its current condition, for subjects closer than around 5m, the lens functions perfectly.

The exterior is in very good condition, with a few light marks of a purely cosmetic nature.

The front and rear lenses are in particularly excellent condition for a lens of this age.

The lens has been cleaned in the past. The interior is very clean, but on an extremely close inspection, traces of the past cleaning are visible. There is absolutely no question any of these traces will impact the image quality.

The focusing ring turns smoothly and with no play, the aperture works perfectly, and the blades are clean. The general level of wear is very low.

The lens is sold with front and rear caps (the front cap is not the original, but it works perfectly). There are no other accessories.
